No. Cana Dating is a service, not an app. We communicate with you 1-on-1 to arrange dates. You are a person, not a number.
A compatibility algorithm surfaces candidates, but a real staff member reviews every proposed match before anyone is notified. You're never matched by an algorithm alone.
Once both of you accept the match, we guide you through a series of calls — no awkward texting with strangers. First, two anonymous voice calls where you connect by phone without seeing each other, keeping things low-pressure. If you're both still interested, we set up a video call so you can put a face to the voice. After that, we help coordinate an in-person date. At every stage, we send conversation topics beforehand so you always have something meaningful to talk about.
After each call, both people are asked privately if they'd like to continue. Every human being is unique and valuable. We ask you a few short questions on what you loved about your match and what didn't work for you before you make your final decision. This helps us to cater future matches for you and makes sure we don't treat people as just numbers.
We are currently in our beta testing. We will gather feedback and provide more pricing details after our testing has finished.
Once you are in the pipeline, it depends on how strict your requirements are. We don't want to profit off human suffering with endless swiping, longshot matches doomed to fail, or subscriptions with payment structures that incentivize longterm subscriptions.
